Astrology: It DOES explain everything about everything. REALLY.The Gestalt of the Astrological Worldview Astrology 101I was spooking around the 'net using the google search engine. I plugged in the word "astrology" and read a few blog entries. One young lady said that she didn't read her horoscope in the newspapers anymore because if they said anything negative it made her feel like she would plunge "back to square one" from the cheerful state of mind she'd cultivated BEFORE reading the entry. I don't blame her. Not one bit. I've been thinking about birth charts for a long time and I don't think it's really possible to predict what's going to happen for EVERY Aries on this particular morning. That's just crazy! Who writes that stuff, anyway?? You need a birth time and a birth place and that will give you a map of someone's potential for consciousness. What's possible. What stuff they might be grappling with. What stuff they're probably pretty good at. What stuff they're trying to unfold. That's it. In order to bring it to life you have to TALK with that person and see what THEIR take on the matter is. Anything else is hubris on the part of the astrologer. It's a TWO-WAY conversation. Not a pontification from On High. Sheesh. If prediction was so darned easy I would be able to use it predict my next lottery win. Although, that being said...there ARE techniques for working with maximizing wins but they are so byzantine as to be practically unusable. Perhaps I'm a little jaded: I think there are better uses for an astrological approach to life. For example: learning to get along with those in my life and to articulate where I plug into joy. Where my Shadow lies, where I stick my foot in my mouth, or peeese people off without having a clue about it. Charts help me see where we are stuck and where we soar. So don't worry about reading the blurb in your newspaper. It's a wee bit of hooey and has about as much to do with the practice of astrology as winning at online monopoly has to do with being a tycoon. Where Have I Been? Thanks for all your well wishes! (I'm sure you're wondering where in heck I've been...)
I'm here! Honest!
I did my own solar return this year. That's the birthday chart. The exact degree and minute the Sun returns to where it was when you were born and you take a "snapshot" of the sky each year. It's fascinating. It sets the tone for the year's themes.
My Scorpio Sun was plunked at the top of the chart in the tenth house. That means that this is a busy busy busy year professionally. And I can tell ya, boys and girls, I hit the ground running in November and I've had all I can do to keep up with the work. It's wonderful!
So, when I did my solar return chart I had to keep switching back and forth between the client chair and the astrologer chair. Joke! Kidding!!
The solar return chart (along with the progressed chart) are useful to do because they give you a clue as to where your attention will be. Checking out the progressed planets - particularly if they change sign or house - will explain why you suddenly have an urge to cry all day (progressed Pisces Moon) or clobber someone (progressed Aries Moon). *grin*
...
So, that's why you haven't seen much of me here. I've been working my guts out. (Although to look at it....)
I blame Jupiter in Sagittarius. I have Sagittarius rising (I keep typing "Sagittarious" - which is kinda in keeping with how hilarious that sign can be, I guess. A little Freudian slit. *grin*) and when Jupiter tra lahs through Sagittarius you feel, shall we say, expansive. That includes waistlines. So if you have Saggie rising, take up a sport or try a new hobby or your waistline will expand accordingly.
...
My poor little 1991 Mazda Protege is on it's last legs. I signed on the dotted line for a new-to-me-car today! It's a 2006 Toyota Prius in the most splendiferous champagne shade. I'm so excited I must say! Going to pick up my new baby hybrid tomorrow morning.
After seeing Who Killed The Electric Car in the fall I made my mind up that my next car would, most emphatically, be a hybrid.
...
Okay, boys and girls...gotta run: SN has a new friend from New York she wants me to meet. Later!
Ooops! To everyone who's left a comment or two and wondered why I haven't responded: mea culpa!
If you need to get in touch with me - please email me at chartworks@hotmail.com and I promise to write back!
It's been a lovely day - SN's beautiful daughter gave birth to a gusty gorgeous boy! He hollered up a storm until they swaddled him in warm blankets! He's a beautiful baby and I'm looking forward to getting to know him.
Getting up at 5:00 am was a bit tricky! We were up late playing cards with da goils! Couple that with a few kir royales and it makes one a little tipsy!
Everyone is doing fine: baby, mother is resting, father is glowing with pride.
More later. Hopefully with pictures! More on PlutoInteresting tidbit from the granddaddy of astrology. A man I respect very much. He was interviewed by NPR and had a few things to say. You can listen to it here:
There is more on the debate here:
I've watched Pluto transits up close. They work. They do signify change from a deep place within one's psyche. They also signify the release of repressed impulses. So I won't be excising Pluto from a natal chart delineation anytime soon. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm Having An Identity Crisis! Or "Help! They've Demoted My Planet & I Can't Get Up!"Hmmm...As a Scorpio, I'm a little disconcerted by the haste with which the astronomical community has booted my ruling planet into the doghouse. What do they mean, exactly, by calling it a dwarf planet?
Time will tell how this shakes out in the astrological charts. Astrology is based upon observation and correlation. When I sit down with someone...the reasons for sitting with me in the first place are always delineated by the planetary movements...so we'll see if the demotion of Pluto will effect how events play out in a person's chart.
Based upon what I've observed in the last ten years of doing charts: I think they've been a bit hasty tossing Pluto in the trash heap.
Time will tell.
Where Did The Summer Go?Seriously. A few weeks ago I was lazing by the Birch River in sunny Manitoba and now there are yellow leaves floating to the ground.
I miss my family in Manitoba. I'm considering jumping on a flight for Winnipeg in September. Rash, but true. That might make my trip to Florida in November a little tricky. *grin* (Must save money for shopping for shoes!) (I did mention my shoe fetish, didn't I?)
Did I also mention that I found a fabulous pair of silver slingbacks with a kitten heel? And that I can wear them without my knee screaming bloody blue murder? Yup. True. (*preens*)
...
I have a houseguest from the UK at the moment. He was looking for work here but has decided against it. Astrological charts don't lie. Lovely young man has a Cancer Moon. Which will make the pull to family profound. Sag Sun will always answer the call for travel but the water moon will caution his movement with a longing for home.
Speaking of fire suns with water moons: I have an artist friend with the same configuration. He is a gifted artist with a love of travel...it, too, is tempered by a need to plant flowers in the spring and mooch around in his backyard. Should be interesting to see what happens when Jupiter begins it's trip through Sagittarius at the end of November. All Saggies will feel an urge to expand, grow, spread their wings. Or gain weight. Yeah, there is that.
So, my sweet fire signs...be sure to make leaps of growth instead of girth. *grin*
More on that later.
ttfn. The Great Manitoba AdventureTrip Chart: Check!
Co-Pilot: Check!
Itinerary: Check!
SN & I have returned from The Great Manitoba Road Trip!
The trip chart was quite accurate if ya know how to read it! I'm beginning to think that the horoscope speaks in puns! Or is quite literal. If you know anything about astrology you might find it fun to erect the chart and play along with the astrologer.
June 30th 2006 at 8:50 am in Calgary. G'wan...run it.
The first thing you'll notice is that the first house (the driver) has Mars opposing retrograde Neptune in the seventh house (the co-pilot). Guess what happened? I'll tell ya: the co-pilot (aka "SuperNurse") did not see the step up into the gas station when she went to pay for our fill.
SN has Gemini rising. That makes her wrists significant. She spilled onto the ground with most of her weight on her left wrist. Jammed it up so badly that it made motion in her left hand pretty much impossible.
Glad I thought to pack the percocet cuz the pain was bad. So poor SN experienced the last leg of our adventure in a nice narcotic haze. Neptune can be helpful that way: makes you overlook serious danger but gives you the means to relieve suffering, too. Rules anything that alters consciousness.
....
Where do I start with describing our Great Manitoba Adventure???
The bargain hunting was a blast. We plan our road breaks based upon DOTS and WINNERS locations across the prairies. We have acknowledged that we are The Poster Girls for WINNERS. Endorsements should follow based upon how fetchingly we pull together our look exclusively from those two bargain stores. Silly, but true.
Note the Moon in Virgo conjunct the second house: not only do we make discriminating purchases but we also travelled with far more luggage jammed with capris and shorts and summer frocks and sandals and swimwear than we could humanly wear in two weeks. Just in case. Note that the Moon squared Venus in Gemini applying to the eleventh house.
Lots of surprises with the square - SN's son AND ex-husband landed on our doorstep at Grand Beach. Said son was expected. Ex-husband was not!
It was fun to load ex's camera with jolly photos of SN when he went to purchase refreshments.
Ex stayed for the afternoon. Son was there for a couple days. We were there for a week. Pretty beach. Lots of sun.
The weather was HOT HOT HOT!
...
Then off to Prawda to visit my favourite uncle and aunt. More surprises! My eighty-nine year old maternal grandmother was there! Also not expected and an interesting twist to our usual pastoral experience.
Note the Jupiter in the fourth house. Rules grandparents. Trining the chart ruler - the Sun in Cancer in the 11th house. Lots of people landed at my uncle's place to say hi.
SN and I love to cook - so we were doing so for the many family members who were there. My father and his lovely girlfriend - who is two years younger than me - but that's another Fun and Interesting Family Fact. She's perfect for him. My baby shitster and two of her three brood - the eldest being away in Toronto. The shitster is an accomplished photographer and her latest project blew me away. She has produced the most gorgeous postcards of the folk festival I have ever seen. I hope she is serious about marketing and selling them. They're stunning.
Who else was there? Oh yeah! The WaterBaby - my oldest friend - I've known her since I was seven! Cancer rising (but with Uranus in the first house - never married - and with a cutie patootie bf about eleven years her junior), Pisces Sun and Scorpio Moon. Aptly named, eh?
....
There's more to tell but it's almost midnight and the BuzzyFuzzband has just returned from golfing in the Kananaskis. Haven't seen him in almost three weeks so...later, friends!
I said it before...and I'll say it again...
AstroQueen is BusyBusy!Hello Beauties! I know I haven't written for a while...but I've been busybusy doing lots of mini consultations! Remember when I said I could answer any question using astrology?
Well, the response has been overwhelmingly positive and a lot of fun, too! I've been enjoying running a chart for when you ask the question and having the answer be there! That's right: the time you send the question (via email) determines outcome. Go figger.
I run your birthchart AND the horary chart. Works good.
Keep the questions coming! I'm Back!...from Mexico!
One week in the sun with SN. It was lovely to get away from the brown and go to a warm climate. I've never stayed in an all-inclusive resort. It's a mixed blessing - the food was a bit hit and miss - but the people were lovely.
The room was spacious and beautiful and I could walk right to the pool from our little patio. Moon in Aries Today...are you feeling revved up?
New Moon in Aries means make plans to initiate something new. Watch it grow over the next six months. Aries New Moon will include pioneering of some sort and it will test your courage. Be decisive. Be bold!
The Full Moon in Libra on April 12th will help you see where the difficulties may lie in your undertakings. That's the time to fine-tune your plan. Weed out the problem areas.
Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorns will feel motivated to work with new initiatives.
The Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) will feel excited. Follow thru is important!
Each sign of the zodiac will respond to this New Moon thrust differently:
Aries: Who am I? What do I want? This is a good time to look at your long range goals and objectives more deeply.
Taurus: What am I not seeing? Where do I undo myself? The emphasis here is on what your unconscious value judgements are and how they effect your overall conduct. Look for shocks to the system.
Gemini: Who are my friends? Where am I going? Who's going there with me? There are tribal issues here. It can mean that someone in your peer group will provoke change.
Cancer: What initiatives to I want to launch at work? What is my standing in the professional realm? The idea here is to polish your reputation and to take a stand that we can stand behind.
Leo: What are the philosophical rules that apply to me? Are there opportunities in other markets, other countries, other governing bodies? Expand your view and learn new things. Work with folks who are fundamentally different from you. Proceed with curiosity and it will work out.
Virgo: What am I going to to with my investments both financial and intimate? Partnerships are in question here. Financial issues can be resolved quickly, decisively.
Libra: What am I going to initiate with others? Others will approach you...what are you going to respond to?
Scorpio: What tasks can I start now that will pay out down the road? What are my day-to-day responsibilities? How do I honour them? God is in the details. Pay attention to how you spend your time. Don't waste it.
Sagittarius: How can I play? Who wants to play with me? Do ya think I'm sexy? Lemme show you what I've got! Everybody wants you, baybee. Enjoy!
Capricorn: How can I focus on family, home and hearth? What needs tidying up at home? Clean up the basement. Throw away everything you're not using. Give it away. Spring cleaning starts here.
Aquarius: What short term courses or classes will help me in the long run? Take a weekend away. Listen to a learning cd. Open your mind. Explore your neighbourhood. Try something new.
Pisces: What do I value? Changes in employment are a possibility.
Baja...I'm going there. But I booked it whilst Mercury was retrograde.
Yes, I like to tempt the fates.
...
I never learn.
...
I'm going with SN. One week. In the sun.
...
The Momster's BirthdayVee har maykink herr a partay.
I know! You're thinking, "You're still in your dressing gown and it's 9:45 am?!"
Pah. SN is helping me with festivities. Got the chammpers. Got the pinot noir (curse you, Terry, for turning me into a wine snob!) - not that nasty locally grown shtuff. blechhh.
Carrot cake is being decorated. Heh heh heh. The Inscription: What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death. (Apologies to Dave Barry.)
Couldn't resist. It's so, so, so reminiscent ...
Must root around in basement and find the prezzie.
Then wrap it. Or put it in something baggie-like and poof some paper jauntily about.
The Momster is with The Furious today. And his kids. (That reminds me: must wrap Austin's prezzie - his birthday is right next to momster's - and I am sure he'll like the Curious George toy.)
I am cognizant of the fact that I have a lopsided attitude toward familial obligations...but I do love a party!
That's normal, isn't it?
....
Moon's in Aquarius today. Hmmm. Trining Mars in Gemini. It'll be a yakky party.
...
(Note to self: wear something that makes the bosoms look fetching. I'll explain later.)
Online dating...goes a lot better with astrology. Get the birth data and you'll know instantly if the object of your affection is GIB (great in the boudoir), trifling with you, solvent, and so on.
I've also noticed that those who have a cheerful, positive attitude toward the process seem to do a lot better with it, too.
Those of you who fret online...will fret in realtime. Check your attitude at the door, my precious neophytes. My father...had a heart attack last weekend. At least he had the good sense to listen to Sue and go to Emergency. Whereupon he had the heart attack. In Emergency.
After all the tests and futzing around they discovered that there was no damage to his heart. They fixed the bits that were blocked and he's already at home.
You can imagine what a relief this all is.
Dad promises Sue vacations. Sue assures me they plan to spend the inheritance. I sure hope so.
Otherwise I'll have to leave no forwarding address. You know how weird families get over loot. Please spare me. Spend it ALL. Ask Yourself This......are you an erotic being to serve love? ...or are you erotic to serve your senses?
You can't serve two masters. On A Lighter Note...Muffie, SN, and I were at an Oscar Party at the Uptown Theatre last Sunday night and (lah dee dah!!) our photograph is in the Society Pages of the Calgary Herald today!
We dressed up fancy schmancy and said we were the witches of eastwick! If you get the Herald peruse Section C for the jolly, red-faced, champagne sippin' saucy girls!
Sometimes it's just fun to make a complete fool of yourself! What I KnowIf you cry when you're injured...the tears relieve all the pain in your knee. SN picked up the fact that all the lymph drainage I am enjoying with Mark-the-Massage-Therapist does not hold a candle to crying your heart out for a solid hour.
I could not believe how amazing my knee felt the next day and the next day and the next.
My eyes felt like two pee-holes in the snow.
But my knee was astoundingly spacious.
....
That does not mean that I will substitute grief for massage therapy. No, it does not.
...
I am struck by how much relief I felt when I actually felt the profound sadness I've been dragging around for weeks.
...
That grief spills over into irritability with all of those in my life. It means I'm unforgiving and cruel. It means I take my rage out on them instead of growing up and learning compassion towards others, towards myself.
I ripped a strip off of Theresa. Anger over money? That's just stupid. It's just money.
Love and forgiveness. Anger and spite.
I never learn.
...
No. I do learn. Just slower than molasses in...oh blather...you fill in the blanks.
...
If I'm so spiritual, why am I so thoughtless?
What I'm reading......is anything by Dr. David R. Hawkins. I just finished Truth Vs Falsehood a couple of weeks ago. I'm still thinking about it.
He's written another book, Transcending the Levels of Consciousness, and I've just received it in the mail. A manual for the mind.
I wish he'd put them on audio tape so I could send them to my grandmother. I think she'd enjoy them. Reading them out loud into a tape recorder would be interesting. Perhaps sometime down the road...
Just about finished reading Dancer. It's a fictionalized version of Rudolph Nureyev's life. Breathtaking. Worth reading.
...
The knee: seems to be a little better. I have the recumbent bike downstairs. Soon I'll be walking normally. Hopefully.
...
Sears blew up my furnace. Don't book anything when Mercury's retrograde. Even if it's the day before it goes retrograde.
It goes forward on the 25th of March. Buy your stuff after. Otherwise it won't work.
...
The Fuzzy Husband is back from Palm Springs tonight. I am looking forward to seeing him.
...
Planning MCM's 65th birthday party. It'll be at SN's cuz she has the most room. I'm actually getting excited about it. She moved into her new digs a week ago. The rent is substantially less AND she's surrounded by other seniors. She's still unpacking. SN and I have to help with the redecorating. MCM's plan. Our execution.
...
I am getting to know LibraLady all over again. It's wonderful. She's becoming addicted to the fun card-making stuff we do. It is addictive.
...
Gotta run. Over and out for now.
....what happened yesterday...mcm and I went to look at furniture after my 11 am appointment. I used to be able to get up and at 'em by 7 am. Not anymore. If I manage to haul myself out of bed by 9 am I consider that good. Is it the drugs? Is it the injury? Is it old age? Ha!
Lovely client. Says, "What in the world is going on?? I've been clobbered by an exploding water heater, the tax people, and my mom trying to figure out where she's going to winter since last July!"
Welcome to Saturn in a fixed sign. Oh. Right. Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. You one of them? You have any personal planets in those signs? Feeling squeezed, clobbered, beat up, mangled, pressed and pooped on?
Every 30 months Saturn takes a run through a different sign. It's focus is strengthening, disciplining, and overcoming obstacles. Everyone will experience this differently. But the basic idea is buck up and do the work. It's also: don't give up, chin up, focus, ignore the naysayers (especially that little voice in your head that says fuggedaboudit) and trust the process.
When it's in Leo it's about how we experience authority (ours/others), how NOT to be an egomaniac (humility helps), and opening our hearts with discrimination and care.
You want more? Read ANYTHING Liz Green writes about Saturn. She's a smart cookie. Go to www.alibris.com for a copy of Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil.
Oh. The other thing: once Saturn has finished applying to your personal planets the lesson is CONCLUDED. Right now it's sitting at about 7 degrees of Leo and moving backwards - it gives you a bit of a breather - but it'll turn around in April 5th in the wee hours of the morning. So if you have any fixed planets at 7 degrees or greater - be ready to get back to work!
ttfn! Wow!Apparently, doc thinks I may not need the second surgery. He said that the meniscus (pardon the spelling if I've got it wrong) is no longer torn in two places. It's only torn in one spot. He said I can start the physiotherapy next week and we'll see if I need surgery later. In six weeks he'll reassess my progress.
That was pretty good news.
Now I have to wait until Pat Clayton calls me back. Yeah. That "Pat Clayton" - the one who looks after the Calgary Stampeders.
He can set up the protocol for my knee rehab.
Nuff said there.
Oh happy days. ...and then....two weeks later the bandages fall off the holes in my knee and I'm still trying to break the habit of walking without bending my knee because, well, I'm supposed to break a habit I've had for six months now.
(...insert scream of frustration here...)
Never mind trying to do the (idiotically simple & paradoxically impossible) exercises they gave me.
I'm terrified to do some of them because I only have one good tendon in that leg. They gave me the standard "...here: do these exercises..." blue sheet they give everyone and I'm pretty sure that if I only have ONE out of THREE ligaments working and I do deep knee bends up against a wall I'M GOING TO FALL DOWN.
I'll look forward to asking my surgeon tomorrow. I'm sure he'll remember MY particular leg when he sees a gazillion people a day. HA. Surrrrre he will.
...
Well, I can't really complain because it IS better. It doesn't hurt like it did before the surgery AND I'm already able to do the same stuff I was doing - like lift the leg in and out of cars - that took me six months to master without the surgery.
It's not as swollen either. It almost looks normal.
BUT I am frustrated by what I hear from other people with kinda similar injuries. That essentially I've got another year of rehab in front of me after I get the knee reconstruction.
It's all conjecture because I don't know what the heck the doctor saw or thinks about my knee. I'll know more tomorrow. Fortunately, SN is going to take me there and LISTEN to what he has to say AND remember what he has to say and then TELL me what he had to say.
Apparently, I don't hear ANYTHING when I'm stressed. I LOOK like I comprehend people when they're speaking to me. I know where to nod and I DO understand but then I freeze and/or go blank.
...
Are you as bored with this as I am?
Gawd. A health bore. Gawd.
....
I look forward to the day when I have something ELSE to talk about.
...Meanwhile: Back At The Ranch HouseBoychik's mom is now engaged to a gorgeous, upstanding rancher who dang near whalloped himself outta here a few weeks ago! I am delighted for their families! Boychik is chuff. She was considering having the man-to-man talk but was pretty pleased to see the mom sporting a big I've got a secret grin over the holidays.
SN is back at work. She helped me (along with The Geekster) organize all of the corporate gifts for the Buzzy Fuzzband last week. In fact, she took an entire week of holidays to make sure I was able to Do My Wifely Duties. Ha! Get yer mind outta the gutter, you snape!
Well, like she says, "...when we're all living together it will be a lot easier for Fuzzband..."
I like the look of that picture. Since when does retirement have to look conventional?? One Fuzzband, Two Crazy Wives. Works for me!
So much for normal. It's never worked for me. Truly. When I try to be normal it just futzes things up.
This was the most peaceful holiday season I have ever experienced. Good friends, good food, good times. And it's not over!!
Boychik brought a game Christmas day for all of us to play. It was soooo much fun! You must find it! It's called Mexican Train and it's a blast! It's a dominoes based game and, well, heck, we played it until midnight. Five of us. You can play it with kids and adults and it's fun!
Here's the link for the rules: http://www.pagat.com/tile/wdom/mextrain.html
Here's where to buy the game:
We went to see King Kong on Boxing Day and Boychik saunters back from her truck with the game in tow and thrusts it into my hands saying, "Here! You liked it so much I thought you should have your own game."
Why some girl hasn't fallen head over heels in love with her is beyond me. Cute, smart and tough. With the biggest heart, outside of SN, I have ever had the privilege of seeing. No wonder they are friends. They have much to teach me. Curmudgeon that I am. *grin*
I gave her a sexy calendar for Christmas that she'll have to put in a discreet place. You don't want any nieces and nephews getting their little mitts on this one. The photographer who took the pictures for the calendar is here:
...
Well, in exactly one week I will be under the knife for the first of probably two surgeries to restore my knee. I haven't run the chart yet. I need an exact time for the surgery first.
I'm ready for it.
Later, friends! oooo Las Vegas...remember that Emmylou Harris song? It's going through my mind. If I was clever with technology it would be downloadable here. Sorry! Technically insuffient to the task.
If anyone out there can explain it to me (as if I were a six-year-old) then feel free to do so!
The Festival of SuperNurse continues. I dunno about her...but I'm pooped! One more night of it and then I'm off to Vegas with BuzzyFuzzband. (Who is at my doctor's office as we speak - the poor boy has caught this nasty bug - I was worried about him last night - he really took a turn for the worst - it was so bad that I, in fact, front-end-loaded him with my antibiotics to help him shake off this blasted infection.) It seemed to work.
Miss Cleaning Queen is here cleaning my house. When I'm done talking to you I'll tackle the upstairs biffy. It's a bit awkward but I can manage it. If I'm very careful.
Fell down last night. It was snowing. Didn't see the ice under the snow and went down so fast I barely had time to scream. *laughing* Fortunately, I had had a glass of wine just a bit before and it made me loose as a goose. It was a good job I had the monster-down-fluffy coat on. SN fell on top of me. The coat is so poofy I barely felt the impact.
It's the strangest feeling when my leg does that disjointed spacious waltz it does. I thought I'd torn the last of the four ligaments...but no...fortunately I could stand up again.
SN was so traumatized she hauled my carcass up as though I were a featherlight. I outweigh her by a good forty pounds. Seriously.
Don't worry: I'm still cute.
Don't worry: she was so freaked out (cuz she had my arm for "safety" - ha ha ha) that I think it was sheer adrenaline that propelled the launch!
We had a terrific dinner at Sugo with friends. Who were happy with a couple of thank you cards I'd designed for them. Their way of saying thanks and hippo birdies two ewes to SN.
I knew I'd turn into a health bore. See?!
Gawd.
What's New PuzzyCat......well, SN took poor Cosmo to the vet last night while I saw my client. Lovely girl (the client) with a sensitive and elegant soul. Actually, that applies to SN, too. Loyal friend, helpful, kind, and warm.
Cosmo loves her. Despite having a drooly, poofy mouth he leapt into her arms. I think cats know when someone is a caregiver. He loves her even though he was in pain.
I finished the consultation at 7 pm and Sn arrived with Cosmo right on time. He had his liquids giving intravenously (a little dehydrated) and a shot of antibiotics, too.
He whalloped into the soft cat food so I know he's going to be okay. He has dental surgery booked for Monday morning.
The buzzyfuzzband has to reimburse SN a grand total of $375 just for that little venture. Goodness knows what the dental surgery is going to cost. He's more costly than me!
He's a good natured furball. Just like the cat.
...
I did a little mini-lecture on astrology and the erotic with Personal Best coach & all round expert, LusciousFishieGirl. She does them every six to eight weeks - they're called Unleash Your Inner Goddess and I do a little segment on the erotic signatures in the horosocope for her group of ladies.
I know I've promised you that I would talk a little about Mars and Venus and libido. It will have to wait because I'm helping SN put up her tree tonight.
...
Buzzyfuzzband is at home with a cold. We've loaded him up with chicken broth and essential oils. All his favourite programs are on the television tonight so he's in his element: kleenex, kitties, vicks & wine.
...
Later, friends! Amazing Recipes
